Route 66 Youth Ministry

Parrish United Methodist Youth is bringing Jesus Christ into the lives
of teenagers through Bible study, prayer and fellowship.

6th through 12th grade meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 in the Youth Hall.

Welcome to the new school year! As we enter the fall, we will begin a series dealing with mean and difficult people called, “Jesus and Mean People.” This will run through September and be followed by the “Scary, Gross and Weird” series. Fun events coming up during the next few months include Ninja Night, Trunk or Treat and our annual student Thanksgiving dinner and Christmas party.

Fall 2019 dates to highlight:

    Aug. 21 Pizza night & start “Jesus & Mean People” series
    Sept. 1 New Sunday morning “Encounter” & Connection”
    Sept. 25 Game Night
    Oct. 27 Trunk or Treat
    Oct. 30 Ninja Night
    Nov. 20 “We Give Thanks” student dinner
    Nov. 27 No Youth Group
    Dec. 6 & 7 Living Nativity
    Dec. 27 Family Christmas Dinner

We invite any Middle and High school students to join us on Wednesday nights. We meet in the Youth Hall at 6:30 pm.

Summer Camp

Summer camp 2019 was a wonderful week for 27 middle and high school students! A week at camp involves small group and large worship experiences, skill activities, and plenty of fun! If you missed the video, send me an email at mcnaughton@parrishumc.com.

We are looking at dates for next year, and will be sending an email out in late August regarding our proposed dates for next summer.
