RESERVATIONS for in-person worship

We are excited about the availability of the Covid vaccine and anxiously look forward to no longer requiring reservations for in person worship.  We anticipate that happening very soon.  However, we ask you to hold on with us for just a little while longer as we continue to seek to provide the safest environment for worship and protect those who haven’t yet been able to get fully vaccinated.

ON SUNDAY, MAY 2, THIS SERVICE WILL MOVE BACK INSIDE THE SANCTUARY.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING WORSHIP

We know not everyone is ready to return to in-person worship, and we will continue to offer worship online each week for those who are not ready or are not able to meet together in person.  Each week you will be able to find links to the online service both on our website and our Facebook page.

If you are sick, have been sick, or may have been exposed to COVID-19, please join us online. Additionally, if you have a health condition that makes you more vulnerable, we would encourage you to participate from home or as a part of our outside worship service at this time.

For those who choose to attend in-person, here are some things we are asking you to keep in mind as we return to worship:

  • Please follow social distancing requirements and sit only with those persons from your household, family, or those you traveled with to the service.

  • We are requiring every person to wear a mask during worship. Our best understanding is this precaution helps prevent the spread of COVID and is a simple way we can all follow Jesus’ command to love our neighbor.

  • At this point we will not incorporate congregational singing in the service. Research suggests that singing greatly increases the risk of spreading the virus through increasing the volume and dispersion of aerosol particles and droplets and requires greater social distancing.

  • We will not be offering coffee and snacks in the gathering place, and will encourage everyone to limit social gathering inside before and after services.

  • Children’s programming will only be offered during the 9:45 AM service at this time.

  • Please enter through the main DOUBLE RED DOORS into the sanctuary and depart out of either side exits. This will move everyone through the facility in a similar pattern.

  • We will ask you to check in at the back table when you enter the worship space. This will allow us to have a record of who attended should we have to contact you for any reason.

  • Lastly, if you are unable to attend after making reservations please use the email link you will receive to cancel your reservation.  Because of limited capacity it is very likely that the services will reach capacity.  Those who have reservations and do not attend are taking a spot from someone else who would.

We know this is still not ideal, and we too are anxious for the day when our worship will again involve the practices that we have long treasured.  That day is coming soon!  But for the moment our priority is providing as safe an environment for worship as possible, and helping minimize the potential risk and exposure to COVID-19.  We appreciate your patience, and even more covet your prayers as we navigate these challenges.
