The PUMC Thrift Cottage and Annex are looking for volunteers.
Many types of opportunities exist:
Cottage and Annex – Working inside at the front desk
Donation Shed – sorting donated items and delivering them to the correct area. Requires ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
Garage – working with furniture and other heavy items
Sorting Shed – inspecting clothing and linens
Pricing – tagging items with price to be displayed in stores
Pressing – steaming items for display in the store
Kitchen items– sorting and pricing kitchen items
Volunteers are asked to donate 4 hours a week (or every other week) and assignments will be made in accordance with the interest of each volunteer and their day of availability. Please join us by stopping by the thrift cottage or thrift cottage annex or by contacting the church office at 941-776-1539.
